Robin & Joshua's never to be read wedding blog!
for richer and poorer

A block of rooms is reserved at the Summerfield Suites in Bridgewater under the names Cohen/Zebrowski. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the Ceremony and Reception Site and the two are affiliated, so there will be a free shuttle going from the hotel to the Ceremony the morning of the wedding. The rooms are suites, so there is actually a separate bedroom and living room area in each one. The living room area has a pull-out couch, so each regular suite can hold up to 4 people, and each 2-bedroom suite can hold up to 6 people, if you choose. There are a limited amount of suites reserved, but I assume the discounted rate applies as long as there are rooms and you remember to reference our last names.

The rates for the 1-bedroom suites are $99 a night, and the rates for the 2-bedroom suites are $179 a night. Since the suites really hold more people than the usual 2, the hotel can split the bill on a room if 2 or 3 parties of 2 each want to share a room to save money (for $89.50 each in the case of a 2-bedroom suite). The hotel likes to tell me that this rate includes a complimentary hot breakfast buffet served from 7:00am to 10:30am.

For your convenience, all reservations are guaranteed late arrival. Check in time is 4:00pm and check out time is 11:00am. Guests must have valid ID and credit card to check in. The rooms are reserved at this special rate from Friday, May 23rd to Sunday May 25th.  The wedding is on Saturday May 24th at 11:30am, so we suggest out of town guests arrive on Friday night and sleep in. Let the free shuttle take you over to the Ceremony so you can gracefully sip champagne (how many ways can you say 5 Hour Open Bar?) on Saturday.

In order to guarantee the special rate, you must reserve your room before May 2, 2003. The phone number for the hotel is (908)725-0800.

Here are directions to the hotel from various locations, and if they seem a bit unclear to you (especially the part where they talk about 287 West, when 287 runs North/South) then join the club. I hope to update the directions with something a little more coherent before May. If you have any questions that this page doesn't answer, of course feel free to email Robin.
