Well, i guess that looks ok

Hrm, MT just ate this post the first time i made it, what's up with that?

To sum up what i said: MT was easy enough to install and seems to be working well (except eating my post!). The stylesheets were easy enough to configure, although i did end up subconsciouly biting the layout from Edith Frost. So Edith, if for some god-forsaken reason you ever end up reading this, i apologize, consider it flattery.

On a more original note, i wrote up my own little PHP bit to read the RSS feed from my moblog. They offer some javascript you can just drop in your page and do it automatically, but it has it also outputs an image linking to their site, who wants that. So I did something similar to what Matt did, except i'm limited to PHP over here. I used MagpieRSS to parse the RSS feed. Seems to work well enough, although there is a pretty long delay when it's actually fetching the RSS feed instead of reading from the cache. If it annoys me maybe i'll see if i can fix it, for now it caches for an hour, but you can force it to check for a new image by clicking the refresh image link under the image.

Oh, i also know that the stylesheet isn't rendering exactly right in Mozilla, the input fields in the search area aren't showing up with a border. I don't really feel like doing anything about it now.

Your style sheets don't render remotely readable in ie5, sucker.

Yeah, but it looks good in Firebird, which is the _only_ browser, as far as I'm concerned. Nice job on getting the site working.

Who asked either of you?

I've come to the conclusion that that's pretty much the gist of all weblogs these days... people posting things that to which one could easily ask "who asked you?"

therefore, what's the point!
